• What is a mixxt Community

  Let's start with the hen, not with the egg: The mixxt GmbH is the provider of an online kit for Online Communities and Social Networks called mixxt.

  A mixxt network is the technical platform for gathering a community of a specific common interest or common goal. The founder can add multiple features to the network, such as member profiles, forums, image and video modules, a content management or event organisation and may configure and design them according to his visions.

  Together with these technical aspects of a network, the members form the "community". The term "community" focusses on the social aspects, while "network" emphasises the technical side. Both terms are often used synonymously.
